Insights and inspirations

Welcome to the Fullword Church (For the Nations) blog and news page. Here, we share reflections, updates, and discussions to encourage and inform our community and beyond.

The work of righteousness: a reflection

Isaiah 32:17 (NKJV) states, "The work of righteousness will be peace, and the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever." How do we, as believers, manifest this righteousness in our daily lives? Is it solely through grand gestures, or do we find it in the quiet acts of kindness and justice? Join us as we explore what it truly means to live a life that reflects God's righteousness, bringing peace, quietness, and assurance into the world around us. We invite our current congregation, new visitors, and the wider  community to engage with this important question.

Marriage and faith: understanding the ceremonies

The law of the land recognises civic, traditional, and Church wedding ceremonies as valid forms of marriage. Yet, within some Christian circles, there's often discussion about the significance of each. Why is it sometimes deemed unacceptable for Christians to engage in sexual intimacy after a civic wedding but before a church ceremony? Does the Bible truly differentiate between these forms of marriage concerning intimacy? We delve into these questions to offer a biblical perspective on the validity of civic and traditional marriages, and their place within the Christian walk. This article is intended for our congregation and anyone seeking clarity on Christian perspectives on marriage.
